When you’re a child, you probably never imagine that something so simple as a yellow pajama top with orange spots could give you much joy.
But I awoke to a pleasant surprise this morning, finding Riley sitting in the living room wearing these particular pajamas. She jettisoned the pants before I could find the camera.
You see, all four of my daughters have worn these pajamas. All at about this same, wonderful age. I have many fond memories cuddling and tickling little girls in these pajamas.
Riley will outgrow them soon. And then they’ll be nothing but memories. And that will make me sad.
But today … today I am smiling.

She’s getting hair!
True. My baby is bald no longer.
if you know someone creative and handy with a needle, you can take these special memories and turn them into a quilt or throw pillows. Reagan has things like that I have set aside to make her a quilt for HS graduation.
Her grand mother/great grandmother are extremely talented with a needle! (Cheri/Della)
