Hundreds – perhaps thousands – of Mike Leach fans gathered today at Memorial Circle to rally in support of the fired coach.
More than 2,000 people were watching on the Internet, organizers said.
In addition, coach Leach called in, and the cell phone call was placed over the (not very loud) loudspeakers.
Organizers said Texas Tech would not allow them to have louder speakers.
