A large storm this way comes, and this pilot decided to use the 27 mph sustained WSW winds to stunt fly over campus as the sun set in the West.
I grabbed my camera and long lens and raced out in time to snap 107 shots before the plane departed.
This one – momentarily pointing straight at me – was the best.
Although the smoke trail suggests distress, there was none.

Very awesome.
I’m really upset I missed this, but thanks for catching it & posting! Nice shot.
Thanks, guys. It was fun. I got some other good shots. I need to upgrade my Flickr to start posting outtakes.
I added three more shots for fun.
MARVELOUS! Crop dusters, etc. are Awesome. Before I die, will you take me to hang glide? Either Sandia or Alamo cliffs ?
I love the first and the last!!! How cool!
Not sure I’m ready to jump off stuff, Joanna!
Thanks, Carm. The middle two are just for better looks at the plane.
No silly…………….I’ll do the jumping – all you have to do is get me there and watch. I know you don’t enjoy heights.
Mom, where was this offer when I was a teen-ager? You wouldn’t have needed to jump. I would have thrown you
I kid.
